About Our Graduate Program
Our Graduate Program is a great opportunity to build your career and be part of our vision to achieve world-class sustainable development that reflects community aspirations, through collaboration with government and industry.
Typically, our Development Assistants (Graduates) are passionate, proactive and have strong communication and analytical skills. They share our values of Relationship Building, Problem Solving and Sustainability.
Look at what we offer
We’ll have you in the action straight away, learning and contributing as part of a successful team in a commercially minded and competitive organisation.
Our program offers exposure to the core areas and teams in our business. You’ll complete at least three, six-monthly placements over a two-year period, working on all phases of a development project, from master planning to the sales suite.
We also offer a career pathway in the development industry. As you gain experience, you’ll also gain insight into what part of the industry you’re most passionate about.
We’ll expect you to deliver an excellent standard of work whilst you’re on the program. The training and development we offer gives you a well-rounded skill set to set you up for success. Being capable of rapid learning and having a thirst for development and assessment will help you progress to a Development Manager role over time.
Training and Development? It’s all here.
You’ll be under the wing of one of our General Managers or Development Directors who’ll act as your mentor and organise your work plan, including the time you’ll spend in other areas.
We have an excellent training program and you’ll participate in sessions on contract management, project management, finance and negotiation skills as well as all relevant Landcom software packages. Where appropriate, we support our Graduates to undertake further relevant study.
